Mark Preiss serves as director of the Zion National Park Forever Project, the park’s official nonprofit partner. Preiss served as the founding president for Glacier National Park Conservancy before returning to Utah to help launch the Forever Project in 2017.  He has served as reserve manager at Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve on Whidbey Island, WA. Preiss serves on the board of directors of the Public Lands Alliance. He is a former horse packer and outfitter in the Teton Wilderness in Wyoming. He and his wife, Kathryn, and two boys, Jack at 14 and Finn at 11, love to camp, ski, bike, and hike.
